A spoon full of sugar

I am taking my take on pointillism, i love the dotty effect it makes a painting so much more exciting and gives it a lot of texture.

My paintings are mainly ordinary floral shapes. Using made papers I've cut out circles to get the same shape every time then used my tools to expand.

Tools- tools are important for drawing, you will be surprised how the simplest objects make the best marks, like sponges, you can get a very fine dotty affect where you couldn't get when you hand drawn it. Even things like forks and spoons make great marks.
My tools are anything i could find that could make a circle, so polystyrene balls cut in half, round sponges stuck on sticks, polystyrene sheets cut into circles.
